When considering the World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence Container Port Performance Index 2021, a striking fact does not leave any room for doubt: PortMiami worked its way up in the Statistical Approach from rank 200 in 2020 to rank 39 in 2021 and in the Administrative approach from rank 114 in 2020 to rank 29 in 2021. Digitalisation has pushed PortMiami within a year to the second most efficient port in North America.
